How do I add my library folders?
On first launch, Krate will guide you through adding your library paths. You can also add or modify paths anytime via Settings (gear icon) in the app.
Why aren't my libraries showing up?
Make sure you've added the correct parent folder that contains your Kontakt libraries. Krate scans for .nki files up to 6 folders deep. Try clicking the refresh button after adding paths.
How do I use the global hotkey?
By default, press ⌘⌥K (Cmd+Option+K) from anywhere to summon Krate. You can customize this in Settings.
Can I move the window freely?
Yes! Click the pop-out button (⤢) in the header to detach the window from the menu bar. You can then drag it anywhere on screen.
